HCHS has undertaken to provide a facility to attract and retain physicians and other integrated healthcare services for our community.

Through financial support in the form of donations, endowments, debentures, etc. we are working towards building and owning a community family practice centre which benefits us all. The property will be purchased as soon as sufficient funds are raised, thereby ensuring an ongoing community asset.

Our Society is a registered non profit group which needs to raise money and we will be able to issue tax receipts in due course. In the interim one of our corporate community partners, Kindale, is writing tax receipts. Our local municipal Councils have endorsed what we are doing and we have received a significant start up donation of $75,000 from the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Healthcare Auxiliary.

Other donations are now coming in with more than $25,000 raised to date. We thank those who have contributed to date and we are appealing to all other residents for their support as well.

Donations may be dropped off at Dr. Sherwin's office and the Century 21 Executives North offices in the Pharmacy Plaza in Armstrong, at the Armstrong Advertiser on Okanagan Ave. and at the Kindale offices on Patterson Ave.
